Step 1
Orientation
All volunteers with Gopher-it Cares will be asked to complete an online training and orientation module before they can register for volunteer shifts.
Please save the certificate issued at the end of your training. It will need to be uploaded as part of your volunteer registration.

This online module gives you all the information you need to complete a delivery with Gopher-it Cares.
Step 2
Volunteer Profile
Volunteer registration and scheduling is coordinated using software developed by Bloomerang, a local tech company specializing in volunteer management.
Register through Bloomerang and complete your volunteer profile. As part of registration, you will be asked to upload your certificate from the Gopher It Cares Orientation Module.
That is it! Once you have completed the orientation and training modules, and your volunteer profile, you are officially part of the Gopher-it Cares volunteer family.
Step 3
Complete a Delivery!
Once your orientation is complete and you have completed your profile with Bloomerang, you are officially an Gopher-it Cares volunteer.
Signups for volunteer shifts go out weekly. You can expect an email every Friday from us with relevant news, protocol updates and the volunteer opportunities for the following week. Then you will be able to browse the available volunteer shifts and self-sign up for one that suits your schedule!
